That's it really Ds,aged 7 with left hemiplegic cerebral palsy, got a new splint last week - a Silicon one. For the first year ever, feeling so much more confident in this splint, he said he wanted to do sports day.

He came third!! we were all so very choked, all the class parents were screaming for him too.

(we were told when he was 3 days old and on a ventilator, that he would never walk ,talk or go to ms school!)

That is so brilliant - he must be a very determined chappy and a rather good runner to come third. It's lovely the other parents were all shouting for him as well.

Definately a champagne moment
