for a NIL down payment.

We desperately need to update our car, we need a reasonable sized family car with a boot big enough for a major buggy or wheelchair.

Does anyone know the best options please.

Thanks

zafira is really good. ebven better if you don't need all the seats as then the boot is massive. if you need all the seats it is dinky.

Thanks all, I like the Zafira but dh is insistent we don't pay a penny.
He likes the C Max, I think he is trying to avoid 7 seats so he hasn't got to take my parents, I know his game

Whats the average wait time if we just have an off the peg model?

we have just ordered the c-max. its big enough for dh and i, 3 kids, buggy and all their cr*p as well.

i didnt want a 7 seater as we dont actually need one.

ours should be ready mid april, after our old contract ends.

i think its usually upto 8 weeks for the 1st car you order.

Thanks Misdee, we may go & have a look on Saturday.
Is it any easy process or are the forms as bad as the DLA?

its really easy. phone the garage and make an appointment to test drive some cars. tell them u have mobility and they usually have a specialist guy on site.

take your dla letter with you, and drivers liscenses. but do try out several cars.

we have had the 05 astra + nissan tino (my baby sobs). but we have test driven loads over the years. dh didnt like the zafira as felt it lacked visability, same for the mireva, he lvoed the astra (we only had two kids then, found out i was pregnant a month later so once she was born we got the tino), iloved the tino but they dont make that any more so went for the closest match.

have also drive the nissan qasqai (hated it) andf the astra estate (loved it but getting 3 seats in was a bit of a squeeze).
