i am confused and maybe i have made a mahoosive mistake.

i recieve dla for both my ds's.

both get middle care and one gets lower mobility as well.

i just had to fill in an income form for a credit thing and i worked out that i should be receiving £400 and something every four weeks but i actually receive £250ish.

why is this? have i/they made a mistake? or do i not receive full amount because i also get carers allowance for one of them? or is it because i have 2 on dla?

plerase help me out because dont want to call and kick up a stink if its all as its meant to be, but dont want to miss out on anything we are entitled to!

I get roughley £240 a month for DS who is on lower mobility and middle care. To me it looks like you are only getting DLA for one child. Ring them and check.

I get about 180 I think for ds who has middle rate care. You're getting CA should make no difference to the amount of DLA awarded to your children. i agree with bonkerz that it sounds like you are only getting it for one child.

DLA isn't means-tested so wouldn't be affected by the CA. It definitely sounds as though you are only getting money for one child.

never managed to get through. kept waiting and waiting then had to hang up for various child-related reasons and by the time i had time to phone again the office was shut so will have to try again tomorrow. maybe i have made a mistake and it is going in seperately on a totally different date to ds1s and i have overlooked it.

Filling in my DLA forms right now(one of the most hated things when having a special needs child)This is the 4th time and he is only 13. Never know if we are going to get it or at what rate, why do we have to fill in these forms ,it isnt as if my sons disability is going to go away over night.
