I have two hyperactive boys (6,4)
We have cut out sugar of DS1 diet for a month or so with great success. After advice that it would help, However, it is incredibly difficult to continue as sugar is everywhere.
I think that DS2 suffers in the same way from watching them.
After sugar or chocolate (even relatively small amounts) they loose all control and don't hear me. Also neither of them are big eaters so getting them to take on the right fuel is very demanding.
I do feel that I have to look at their diets, is it just sugar that sends them into a frenzy?
Any experience?
