i am really proud of ds today............

npw I know eh isn't sn. but didn't want to put it in teens.
we went out today. me, ds, dd her freind and the mum and 3 kids.
her oldest son is a year younger than mine and dd's friend is a year younger than her and then the has on of 8 &6.
ds was brilliant he couldn't have helped me more. not only the normal stuff of getting dd out of the car on more than one occasion. which even with the wheelchair access van is quite time consuming. he helped her do bowling and she won.
my freind commented on it and said how lucky Iwas her oldest wouldn't even help his brother (sn & like dd severly disabled)with the bowling.
all in all he was So good and at 15 he Made me REALLY proud.

oh fio - know how that feels - first person dd1 used to ask for before they shared a room was dd2 - and then her dad and then me. When coming home from kindy - dd2 dd2!!! is all we hear.

Dd1 is even excited when dd2 gets in the back of the car with her!! Even though they have walked down the stairs together no less than 10 seconds ago!!

i always say as long sa dd has ds she will be happy. dh and I come way down the list
when ds went to camp for a week in yr 6 I put dd into respite the night he came back to give him a bit of "our" time.
dd has missed him all week. when we went to pick her up on the sat ds hid in the boot. I told her he hadn't come home(totally misjudged that one) she burst into tears. when she saw him she was OVER the moon.

he is so funny. he was mad at the other boy as "he was disrespectful about his mum"
