I am sure Hannah just said 'What's that?', she held one of her brothers thomas tank engines out and said it - it wasnt really really clear but sounded like that and lets face it not many poeople understand childrens language at first. Yipppeeeee.

That's lovely - no wonder you're excited. I love these little breakthroughs they have. My DS started clapping along with me when I was singing "Happy and you know it" to him the other day, it made my day - he was really communicating with me.

Chances are if that's what you thought she said then she did indeed say that. My SALT told me that and I'm sticking with it!

Wonderful, really happy for you

That's great mummy2aaron, those moments are so fantastic, aren't they. This half-term ds1 and ds2 are actually playing,- some real playing- together. I could cry!

It is these moments that are the BEST.

I asked Lottie a question the other day, I said 'oh, why did you cry' and she paused then said 'loud'! Is was so pleased that she'd answered me I forgot to be upset at the fact that she had been crying!

I have told everyone I know lol - she even did a little wiggle to Boogie Beebies and make noises like she was trying to sing along.

Ahh, bless her, that's lovely. Get your DD to have a word with my DD3 - still waiting for that 1st word. And I'll bet it'll be something inappropriate like "bugger"

My eldests first word was shit which he kept saying to the vixar at the mums & tots we used to go to. DS2 (asd) didn't talk until he was 3 - he is 4 on saturday - it has been hard work so I have been dreading Hannah being the same really.
