so sorry if i sound big headed.

But it was DS's statement review today and it was so positive.
he is begining to join in with some group work and im told he is really enjoying board games with one or two people from class...this was news to me as he will never sit and play games with me.
he is able to recognise a few numbers and has even shown some of the "jolly Phonics" movements to his TA.

his targets for the next year are now educational based. normally they are "to have a full day at school" "to last a whole week without exclusion" " to manage his emotions in a non agressive way" ect.

but this time there are things like "recognise some CVC words"

i know i moan a lot about the fact he is in MS and that there are many many things that i would change if i could...but he has come on so far in this last 12 months.

Im so chuffed i just had to tell people who would understand.
so again im soryr if your having a rough day...hopefully it will be your turn tomorrow
