Dr Hilary Dyer, independent ed psych - anyone any experience?

We've approached Dr Dyer to try to get my son some support in school.
She sounds fantastic, really understood the issues we're having, but it's an awful lot of money for us (nearly £1700).
We could just about find it but does anyone know if it would be worth it?

Ds has been observed by La ed psychs who can't see anything and the cycle of anxiety goes on.
