I have a 17 year old daughter orginally was told she had autism. Six months waiting list to see CAHMS speciallist then was told she had GAD. Six months later gave her GAD and OCD label. Six months later one more label seperation anxiety! Was awarded DLA at the middle rate. At 16 had to change to PIP. Got turned down! Now awaiting for a tribrunal date to fight for justice! Has anyone had any dealings with tribrunral and if so were they succesful with their award. Seperated and daddy not seen them or kept in contact with them for two years (Near the time she was diagnosed) Cancelled all of the bills and the mortgage (bless him) and decided not to work hence could only claim 35p per day for their upkeep! I want and need to work but at this time my daughter is in a 10 hour college course at Sen college. I have a good inner strength most of the time but I do struggle some days. Any advice would be really welcome. Due to having no internet at home I can only access this thread every couple of days.

I have a 15 year old dd with ASD, GAD and OCD too. The anxiety is crippling, she doesn't even go to school anymore but will hopefully sit her state exams in the summer.
Like you I can cope most days but some days it's very difficult, my youngest son also has ASD and will most likely get a diagnosis of GAD too if I can get someone to see him. I've no advice, sorry but as Ineedmorepatience said you're not alone here. I don't post often but check in nearly everyday.
