Tablet recommendations please.

DD2 has cerebral palsy and I'm looking for a tablet (iPad size - mini is too small) for educational games and apps to help with hand-eye co-ordination/fine motor skills for both her and her elder sister. They both use an iPad at school, but if I could get away with something just as functional with games and apps but cheaper, that would be great. The kids are only 4 and 7 so don't need anything too involved/advanced (I think).

I'd also need to get a robust cover and preferably a stand for it too. I've seen Cerebra are developing a cover and stand for the iPad but this is not available commercially yet.

Can anyone recommend a tablet that is good for games/apps and has those type of child-proof accessories available? Apols if this has been done before - I have searched MN but it was a bit of a minefield wading through all the posts. Thank you
