Can some please remind me how long the DLA runs for before you have to re- apply??

they send you a reminder. I've just had to reapply as ds1 is coming up to 5.

It should say on your original award letter, I think it varies case to case.

They usually send you a reminder about 6 months before it runs out. Then if you don't get it together until near the deadline (like me) they send out reminders every few weeks.

dd1 was awarded it for 18months initally, now has it for 2years, dh is for 4years.
