there was a little boy at my dd1's nursery over 2years ago, who i thought was on the spectrum

saw his mum earlier, the boys ADHD and the specialist are now mentioning Autism as well. he is verbal and mad as a hatter (in a good way), just an adorable boy who reminds me of dd2 (who at that point was swinging off her chair humming)

there are also 2 boys, one at dd1 school, one same age as dd2. they are both on the lower end as well.

s*d the specialists, just see me, i can dx your child and then you can apply for DLA

I spot them everywhere too

An acquaintance of mine has a son who was suspected of being on the spectrum but has just been told by the paed that he's not. I still think he is though! Am waiting for a few years time to be proved right...
(This sounds gleeful and mean - not meant to be but she doesn't waste ANY opportunity to tell me for the umpteenth time how her son is definitely not autistic, no, not at all, the paed says so, isn't it great etc etc. And I just think, fine, but can you please choose someone else to tell...)

gosh when people are like that I always feel like saying "wrong audience" to them. I was told ds1 definitely wasn't autistic - hmmmmmm!

Will be looking out for you tomorrow!
