DD1 can ride a bike!!!!

We've been discussing getting her a SN trike so she can have fun with her sisters and the determined little madam has learned to ride a bike! We couldn't belive our eyes.

It's all a bit precarious with a lot of lurching from left to right and using legs to balance as she turns corners, but it's definitively riding on two wheels!

She works so flipping hard and I'm so proud.

She is a superstar. She's also in the most fabulous school.

I wrote in her Home-School book:

"DD1 has learned to ride a bike without stabilisers over the Easter holidays - Go DD1!"

Their response?

DD1 was allowed to share her exciting news with the whole school in assembly this morning, and because the HT wasn't in the assembly, she was escorted around to see the HT, so she could share her good news with her.

Isn't it wonderful? They understand how huge something like this is in DD1's little world.
