This is the best holiday we have ever had tbh. Like Anniebear dd goes to a playscheme twice a week and now I have my mum on Thursday to help through dp's it has made such a difference. Infact I think we have only been in for 2 days throughout the whole summer.
I honestly don't want them to go back to school as for dd that's when her troubles start and she gets stressed

DS1 is so much more 'himself' in the holidays - though he enjoys school most of the time, I think his dyspraxia makes it a strain for him and it shows in his behaviour/mood. So he's having a great time! But I am spending the hols (since we came back home) feeling constantly guilty that I can't give DS2 the time he needs. DS1 is good at amusing himself until I start doing 1:1 stuff with DS2, when he suddenly decides that he absolutely has to wind himself round my leg. Consequently DS2 is doing an awful lot of aimless wandering and constantly using PECS to ask for videos and/or food. Mind you, he has learnt to use the sentence strip these hols. It's a shame because he's being very responsive atm and I just feel I can't capitalise on it.

So my answer is - OK and not OK!!!

can't believe i am about to say this but....its not been too bad.

DS has been fighting with DD non stop but he hasn't been any worse than a normal weekend really.
he has settled down now he understands it holidays and there is no school.

he has been so good i am even planning a trip to the sea life centre next week and if all goes well maybe to the history museum.....may be pushing it with that one though lol
