there was a time when dd2 would eat anything. now she gagged on four forkfuls of mash. she cant carry on like this. she is living on (peeled) sausages, bananas, toast and currys. thats about it.

Does she feel sick or is it just that she is refusing it.
I have had so many food worries over the years with ds and he is nt by the way. He went through the I will only eat mash potato stage once.
Even now (he's 14) he is very reluctant to try any thing new.
Also dd(cp) loves food but if she wants to be in control" she wil refuse to eat something that she liked the day before.
I know it is hard but try not to worry.

she has devoloped a fear of foods she has gagged on. she suffers with vomiting frequently. we find that once she chokes or is sick after eating she will avoid that food or anything resembling it in texture.

if she eats currys and the other stuff you mentioned she is still doing better than most kids, I know that doesn't help, But food is the thing that sends us all into a panic. Is it certain textures she doesn't get on with?

seems that way. i know she is doing better than some kids, but compared to what she used to eat even ayear ago its so small.
