starlight am not sure really if HT will back us , if it's who i met she may try to . Nobody has said DD does not need SS just that they are oversubscribed . Just quickly searched for independent SS and only 2 in Norfolk and they don't take in until ages 6 or 8 and DD is 4 1/2 . That again is the escape clause for the LA isn't it as DD does not legally have to be in school until term after 5th birthday which is next May .
bjkmummy Just spoken to solicitor and LA have finally responded . They are saying the SS we want is over subscribed and that the local MS may be able to meet her needs and are putting a package together rather chew my arm off. They have not taken into account she can't cope in busy situations e.t.c. They put in her statement no school name just " to be reviewed in the future " starlight yes it's a state SS . I just wondered if the headteacher from the SS you are wanting named usually goes to assess your DC ? It's all a bit neither here or there !
hi, i dont know the answer - mine has until 31st october - halloween to respond - they are going to see my school next week on the 11th oct
it is frustrating that they havent responded - have you contacted the tribunal to see what they advise? im guessing that the visit may have something to do with it but thats a lengthy delay and they should let you know - not to respond is not good. i know they can be struck out by the tribunal - you need to speak to teh tribunal for advice
A qestion hope someone can help with please ... Am going to tribunal for SN school for DD , the resonse date was yesterday for La . Challenging parts 2,3 and 4 of statement . The head teacher of the SN school is going to assess my DD on the 17th at preschool does this usually happen please ?
