Ellioe goes for her first full day

A little worried still, although I met the lady who is going with her and she seems very nice. Although Ellie doesn't really know her and she doesn't know a thing about Ellie!

Had a word with School today to see if they can get her to come and spend sometime with Ellie in class today to get to know her a bit

Do you think I am ok to take in some things I will have written down?

It will be silly things though...change her nappy at......, she can peel her own banana!!! just needs a tiny bit of help getting her coat off, can't get her coat on etc

I really could go on and on and end up giving the poor woman pages!!

help!!???

Obviously meant Ellie!!

Forgot to say, am actually a bit excited also!!

And also a bit tearful!! It will be the first time I take both Grace and Ellie to reception together and they will be wearing matching green tights!!! lol

(instead of Ellie being in a diferent uniform for her SN school)

Good luck for little Ellie tommorrow.

A list is a good idea, that's no different really to a small questionaire that I had to fill out for my ds when he first started school, his likes and dislikes etc, and what he's capable of doing for himself.

Thanks

Ellie has just got home from school and apparently her and her helper spent an hour together today getting to know each other which is nice

That would have been a good idea for me to do, but she has been going half days since end of Sep with a lady that knows her really well, and I didn't find out who would be going with her for a full day till the other day

Hope your DD gets on ok

Good luck to Ellie and mini-Eidsvold for tomorrow.

A list of pointers sounds like a really good idea, Anniebear.

oh anniebear that is fab .....

Bethron my dd1 is off in an hour although she has told me she does not want to go to kindy she wants to go to her sn kindy - she keeps asking for her sn teacher

feel like I am going to cry all morning. Her sn teachers told me she has changed so much just in the 7 weeks since they saw her - apparently she is using lots of words and they swear she has shot up and looks sooo grown up......

Will be back later to tell you all how it went.... and with photos too

Bet she will have a great time eidsvold

Ellie does lots at her sn school but seems to be a lot of messy art stuff. It was lovely to see her come out holding her own pictures (ok, scribbles!!!!) that she had coloured herself
