Loads of Xmas adverts, buy this buy that etc......no SN kids...WHY??????

A lot of SN kids do not look any different to NT kids. I work at a special school and many of the kids there are very good looking. Severely austic kids don't have horns growing out their heads.

However my son wears bright blue hearing aids because he is mildly deaf. The hearing aids stand out a mile because he has short blond hair. In my opinon my son has no major special needs. He copes well with mainstream school.

I know what you mean. I think it would be lovely to have a hearing impaired child on Nina and the Neurons and more positive images of people with differences.
