Kari-me v moby

I'm 35 weeks pg with number 2. With DS I just used a baby bjorn or my pram. Fancy trying a sling this time, not least so that we can be more mobile in the early weeks following planned c-section. DS is 3 yrs 5 months so can walk most places now. I had a c-section last time but didn't leave the house on my own with baby for the first month but doubt that will happen this time around.

ANYWAY am keen to try a sling and do more baby wearing. Probably mainly for first 6 months (have long term back problems) Have narrowed choice to a moby or a kari-me. Any preferences between the 2?

Personally I prefer the 100% cotton of the Moby Wrap Baby Carrier because it just feels nicer and seems to keep its shape better, but aside from that they are pretty similar.

The friend who introduced me to babywearing had a kari-me, but she told me to go for a moby. No idea why !

Not sure about the Kari-me's but some of the Moby's come with a solar weave panel which would be great in summer, some are organic and you can also get them with a different colour front pocket panel. I loved mine, am just upgrading to a woven now as I need more support for a heavy 5 mth DS2
