Slimmer of the week

Loaferloveforyou · 06/10/2016 00:05

The average weight loss of my group to get slimmer of the week seems to be 2lb, my friend goes to another group and does really well but has never got it despite losing 2lb or more.

Has she been unlucky or does my group have smaller weight losses?

Has anyone here got slimmer of the week?

Just looking for comments really, I know slimmer of the week isn't the be all and end all but it's nice to have that recognition at least once

It does depend on what you did the week before. You only qualify as slimmer of the week if you maintained or lost the previous week. So it excludes anyone who has just started, gained the previous or has missed a week.

I've been Slimmer of the Week a few times, but I've been going for years!
The last time was just a few weeks ago, when my loss wasn't actually the greatest in the group, but the others had not lost or maintained the week before.
I received a lovely basket of fruit and veg ( including some delicious homegrown courgettes, which have put me off having shop- bought now ;I was also given a nice summer recipe booklet.

I've been slimmer of the week a couple of times, with 3 and 4 lb losses. I don't know if the rules are the same everywhere but at ours you have to have lost the previous week(so it can't be your first week) and stayed to group both weeks. There's always been someone who has lost more than me but they haven't always stayed to group. Last week we had 55 people weighed and we lost 68 lb between us so I think a 2 lb loss is quite good. Of those 55 only perhaps 20 stayed to group though.

I got it when I lost 3.5 lbs.
