I have plateaued for a few weeks now- need a shake up I think to get it moving again. Doesn't help tonight that I am out for a curry

But after tonight- what helped you to get over the plateau? So pleased with how far I've come and want to give it 6 more weeks.

You might already have tried these, but a few ideas, OP:
Have more SP meals.
Make sure you have your syns every day- at least five.
Portion control, eg just a few potatoes instead of a big pile!
Plenty of speed foods, and make any between- meal snacks speed.
2 scan bran a day.
If you attend a group, share how you're doing with your consultant and fellow members, for motivation and more ideas.
Hope the scales start showing the results you want again.

I did SP for 5 days this week and lost 2.5. For me personally I bloat so much if I even sniff a carb. I know it doesn't mean much but If I do I feel so fat and want to quit so I try to avoid them.

Mix up your meals a bit, try a few new recipes.
Avoid pasta for a day or too before weigh in
Use your Syns
Ensure 1/3 speed with each meal, even if meal had speed in it, so a veg omelette, still have with salad
Write down everything you eat

Hello
I have stuck to the plan all week and find this morning I am up 2ibs, last week I struggled to loose 1.5 ibs.... I don't mind the weight loss been slow but I am beginning to question if Slimming World is for me.
I exercise every day which includes 3 High Intensity Sessions, Pilates and walking. I worked out hard this week and thought I would be on for a big loss when I weigh in tomorrow.
Very disappointed. Hate going to the weigh in if I know I am going to be up....
Any tips
My Typical Day is:
Porridge - Healthy Option B
Milk - Healthy Option A
Raspberries & Blackberries with my porridge
Lunch
Omelet with plenty of speed veg - Courgettes, Onions, Peppers and mushrooms
Dinner
Speed Veg -(Courgettes, mushrooms & cauliflower) at least half my plate, Chicken and a very small portion of rice, pasta or potatoes.

Sorry, haven't got back to thread sooner. Have had quite a socialising week which has been lovely and shows that once I get to goal I should be able to maintain ok but I want to lose a few more pounds yet. Have 2 weeks clear now without any birthdays/occasions so want to give it a really good go.

I will look up the SP days. I do like my carbs and that makes cooking with a family easier but will try. I also like yoghurt- I tend to eat the natural stuff, can I still have that or do I have to syn that?

I think the weather hasn't helped, noticed a definite hankering for warm, filling stuff. I have switched from salads for lunch to soup (largely veggie and homemade) but think there's probably more calories in them than a salad.

I have experimented with scan bran and equivalents, mainly in the form of cake made from it. I think this is encouraging me to eat more calories again than it is not so I'm stopping that.

I seem to have no problem using my syns Grin Blush

Thanks for the help, just need to motivate myself now.
