Normal to go off fatty foods?

Been on sw a while now and am finding that my stomach turns just at the thought of fatty food, eg cheesy toasties, visible fat on ham and bacon, things covered in mayo. That sort of thing. Has anyone else found this?

Yes, Esmeralda, I'm the same.
Sometimes have a "treat" of fish and chips or something similar, and end up with indigestion.
SW educates you to naturally go for healthier options.
A good thing!

I wondered this today too - I ordered some garlic bread as a treat with my jacket potato - ate one mouthful then threw it away, it just tasted so greasy.

Where the foods have the fat less blatant, like chinese takeaway I can still scoff like a good 'un, although I have gone for boiled rice on the 2 occasions in the last 13 weeks.

Stuff like fried eggs, fish and chips from the chippy and the like, I can no longer manage.

Most surprising of all, DH now agrees with me. This was a particularly important moment for the fried eggs he loved to cook in lard.
