Slimming World

I need ideas of SW lunches for me and 3 or 4 toddlers please.

We go out each morning so needs to be something I can precook/prepare, that's quick to cook, or I can bung in the slow cooker first thing.

I've come off track as I can't seem to get my meals organised!
Evening meals aren't too much of an issue as I do the kids a light tea then I eat later.

Any ideas or tips would be really appreciated.

Omelettes. Soup. Salad. Sandwiches (using bread as B choice). Pasta in a tomato sauce (make huge batch of this when you get chance and freeze in portions).

Picky bits from the fridge? Cold lean meats- ham, pastrami, chicken drumsticks or strips. Cucumber, carrots , peppers, cherry tomatoes, hard boiled eggs- kids love cutting them using those egg slicers! Chunks full fat cheese for kids+ crackers, low fat cheese/cheese triangles or cottage cheese for you with ryvita.
Heck chicken sausages are low Syn and popular with kids, or quorn ones, and are nice cold . Pasta salad with low fat pesto, salad veg and tin drained kidney or haricot beans . Olives are not too many syns .
Beans on toast with veg crudites .
slow cooker meals- I've heard you can bake potatoes in them too as well as usual casseroles.

I second picky bits and homemade soups! I normally make a big batch of soup that'll last a good few meals - got a spicy lentil, sweet potato and tomato one on the go at the moment.

Sorry I should have been clearer, lunch here is a cooked dinner rather than a light meal, the light meal for the kids is a light tea at 4:30 so at lunch we tend to have things like spag bol, chicken dinner, stew, etc.

Things like soups, jackets, sarnies we have at 4:30.

Thanks for the replies, I managed to organise a fairly sensible tesco delivery, now just need to plan my meals for the week! Smile

We did burrito bowls the other week, they were really good! Rice, shredded lettuce, sweetcorn, refried beans (or you could use mild chilli or something), Mexican chicken slices from Asda (free) warmed in the microwave, homemade salsa, yoghurt instead of sour cream, and grated cheese - put it all in separate bowls on the table so that we could mix and match what we each wanted to have - so good!
