As a lover of thick white bread (mmmm), what's the nicest wholemeal bread to use for your HE?! Will I learn to love it?!

Oh Zola white toast with real butter - how I am missing it!!

Hopefully someone might help us. I bought a loaf from Lidl as I thought it will all be the same but it is horrible.

I'm currently enjoying the Kingsmill crusts away (you can have 3 slices)

I have the weight watchers wholemeal bread. I can't remember if it's still officially on the hxb list but it used to be.

They are no match for warburtons thick sliced toastie bread but I find the ww one the most satisfying.

If you're not keen on wholemeal bread, you could try rye bread. Waitrose do a loaf by Village Bakery which is a sourdough, so the only ingredients are rye and water. I really like it toasted, it takes longer to toast than wheat bread. You can have one slice as HXB.

I really like Kingsmill tasty wholemeal - 2 slices from a 400g loaf are one HexB - it's dense and filling and , well, tasty!
