I am finding it quite easy to stick to the "allowed" foods in the day when I'm at work but at nights and weekends I can't help but stuff my face with the stuff I'm "not allowed" I have no will power and love that full and satisfied feeling. What do others do to control yourselves or distract yourselves from sweet cravings?! I think I am a very emotional eater so the nights sat on my own are boring so I eat! Weekends I end up having "treats" with the kids.....please tell me I'm not the only one that struggles!

I think everyone struggles somewhere during the day.it maybe nighttime or the 3 pm munchies.
Its all in the planning.
Make sure you eat free food in nice amounts to suit you at meals. Not thinking your on a diet so not living on lettuce.
I keep the sw quiche muffins in the fridge plus frozen pineapple & yogurts for munchies plus plan in a 4 syn chocolate treat for a cuppa at 8/9.

Just dont buy the fatty treats if theyre not in your house you cant eat them! Or buy yourself lower syn alternatives. If theyre having a mars bar, you have a freddo for example or if theyre having ice cream you have a solero

Really it depends on you to make it work. Can you do exercise? Seeing my body change really motivates me and ive just started going to pole fitness so coupled with SW my body is changing shape quickly

pop a banana in the microwaVe for 1 min then top with a small teaspoon of honey( use honey as sins) This is so sweet it should satisfy your craving- also microwave apple with cinnamon and small amount of raisins- what about muller toffee yogurt instead of the chocolate?

my mother put it succinctly when I was whinging about being on WW and cheating all the time

"So - you are paying... every week... to NOT lose weight"
" What is so great about a diet that you choose to do that on?"

When I did SW before I found packs of savoury rice helpful if my dinner didn't quite hit the spot. I would cook a pack with some spicy peppers thrown in to stop me reaching for spicy Doritos or similar. Only had to do it a couple of times but it kept me on track.

Thanks for your answers ladies......I'll try some of the alternatives and maybe I need to make some treats and freeze/store them so that I don't reach for easy naughty snacks rather than good snacks xxx

Have you done the oats layered with fat free yoghurt and fruit?

I save my syns up for the evening which is when I know I will want chocolate. A curly wurly is the answer as only 6 syns and take a while to eat. If I get the treat craving in the day I have a mikado chocolate stick which is only 0.5 syns!
The only way it will work is if you plan everything for the next day. Make sure you have snacks like some chicken legs, cold meats, muller lights, fruit.
My favourite is new potatoes, bacon, egg, lettuce and tomatoes with a tablespoon of light light light mayo.
Make big syn free dinners and have left overs the next day.
Hope this helps
