easy breakfast and lunch ideas

Can anyone help me with suggestions for quick, easy breakfast and lunch ideas. Preferably something very easy for lunch as the kitchen is not good at work!

I'm loving the cooking at home for evening meals, but really struggling as I have to bring my breakfast and lunch to work.

I'm trying to eat more during the day too, as the reason I've piled loads of weight on is because I've been skipping breakfast, just having a soup for lunch then pigging out when I get home on any carb not nailed down.

I'm fed up and really need to sort myself out for Summer.

Mug shots - very quick and syn free. The tomato ones are okay. Or maybe pasta salad, sandwich with lean ham and whole meal bread from healthy extras.

If I'm on the hop in the morning I'll often have a banana and a fat free yoghurt. It's not exactly ideal but it fills a hole and can be thrown into my bag as I gallop out of the house.

I'd second pasta salad for lunch, or leftovers from the night before. Or a big box of vegetable matter salad with piles of cold roast chicken/ham. If you're happy to use 6 syns or so, a pitta bread stuffed with salad and cold meat can be very filling.

i actually like the sound of a pitta bread stuffed with salad Grin. I struggle to eat salad when I'm cold. That's my excuse anyway!

I heard someone say they have 6 laughing cow triangles? Surely that can't be healthy?

Savoury rice is good for lunch. I cook it at home in tuperware with a steam valve then pop it in a insulated bag to take out with me. You can add some chicken pieces and perhaps tomatos or advacado for extra filling power.
Tortilla - eggs potatoes veg of choice and perhaps cottage cheese. Make night before and take in cold.
Mixed bean salad (from tin just rinsed ) with fat free dressing and add salad leaves cold meat and or pasta.
SW do a book of lunch ideas check the website.

we did a taster this week and I took falafels, risotto patties and potato and rice cakes. I find pintrest really helpful in finding recipes

I had a salmon fillet, new pots and salad. Twas so yummy I also had it for tea! And did an extra fillet and pots ready for my pack up tomorrow. I may have a salmon addiction building!

How about tuna pasta salad, the SW quiches or rice salad?

I always like cous cous with whatever is in the fridge added - ham, chicken, salad etc

I've tried a different Mugshot today, quite tasty and I'm getting used to just having that instead of loads of bread.

I have a salad ready for later, with tuna and new potatoes.

There are chocolates wherever I look, but I'm avoiding them for the moment Easter Hmm
