On a different thread about why my DD turned into a monster at bedtime one poster suggested changing the routine, maybe trying a story CD. Good idea we think. We read or tell stories at the moment, but that's as far as it goes.
But what story? What's good for a tomboy DD who doesn't like pink very much, can't see the point of dolls unless you can cut their hair off, thinks fairies and princesses are stupid, but is still defintely a girl. The story has to be interesting and not infantile.
I'm a parent for the nth time and I thought I knew all this parenting stuff, but just like the others, this little one's different. And I'm well out of the loop on what's good in the CD book world.
Any suggestions? Oh, we did the bear in the cave and all that stuff a while ago. Went down well (in the day time)though.
