Poll for other attachment parents - naps in sling or pushchair?

Hi

Dd2 is 3 months. We co-sleep at night and that is all hunky dory but she's more alert during the day and I'm finding it harder to get her to sleep and her nap lengths are getting shorter - often just 45 mins these days. So far she's had all her naps either at the boob or in a sling - I have no problem with this and this isn't something that I'm actively looking to change but I'm wondering whether she'd sleep for longer in a pushchair. We're out a lot as dd1 is at home too - she's 3.5yrs and we go to home ed groups etc. so it's important that dd2 is able to sleep on the go.

So what's the verdict based on your experience of attachment parenting - sling or pushchair?

Thank you!!!

My DD7mo (currently napping in our sling) sleeps beautifully in her pushchair, so long as I keep walking! So I regularly take 2 hours walks in the middle of the day so she can nap, and I can see a bit of the world!

But, she wouldn't tolerate her pram until about 5 1/2 - 6 months. Before then, she sit there for about 10 mins, then start to get unhappy, and since I can't listen to her cry, I'd end up pushing the pram with her in a sling anyway!

Now she goes in very happily, enjoys looking around, and drifts off with barely a murmur.

So, I'd try the pushchair, but you may find that she doesn't like it anyway - at least not yet.

I don't think that the pushchair/pram has to be in opposition to attachment parenting, if you wait until your LO is happy in it.
