DS (19 months) occasionally has episodes that look like night terrors to me. It actually usually happens during his nap but he had one this evening. He crawls around randomly, screams and looks terrified. If we try to hold him or comfort him he gets more upset and pushes us away. But if I offer him my breast he calms down and usually becomes cheerful and awake. I don't think he's tantrumming for the breast because he doesn't act like he wants it until I stick it in his mouth. But from what I understand of night terrors I wouldn't think it could be stopped by bfing. Does it sound like a night terror? And if it's not, what's going on?
