Sleeping in this heat

Hi

I'm a first time mum to a beautiful DD who is 7 weeks old. I'm really paranoid about her over heating. She's quite a sweaty baby as it is. What do you think is best to put her in to sleep during these nights? It's currently 22 degrees in the house. She normally sleeps in a baby grow and she has a blanket up to her chest that is tucked tight under the mattress. She sleeps better with the blanket.
Thank you in advance.

Have you got a sheet instead of the blanket so she's still tucked in?

I have a think cellular blanket that I could use instead? Do you think it's not quite warm enough for sleeping in a vest? The upstairs windows are open and there is a slight breeze....

That should say thin, not think 😀

You could always use a muslin and then pop a blanket on later when it's cooler!

That's a good idea. I have lots of Muslin. So keep her in her baby grow? She's not got a vest on anyway. I'll keep checking her through the night to make sure she's not warm. Thank you guys for your help :-)

I had Ds 13 weeks in a thin cotton baby grow last night, no blanket most of the night but put a thin one over him for a couple of hours in the middle, when I wanted the duvet over me. Was 21-23 in our room last night.

If in doubt, dress baby cooler - they will wake up and let you know if they are too cold but might not if they are too hot.

22 degrees isn't too warm, she will be fine with the blanket
