Hi,
I'm new to mum's net but really need some advice please..
my little boy is 22 months old he has always been an amazing sleeper to the point whee he would tell us he wanted to go to to bed and sleep at full 12 hours in his cot..
however I am expecting our 2nd baby in 8 weeks time..
we need his bedroom for the new baby so we have put my 22mo in a new big bedroom we have decorated it the exact same and have used all the same furniture, however we have put him in a toddle bed...
he hates it I thought it may be the bed so we pit the cot in the room but he doesn't want the cot he wants the bed so it is definitely the room...
he won't sleep if I'm not there he wakes in the night and won't go bk to sleep unless I'm there and he will not stay in the room in the morning he is hesterical at bedtime.through the night and in the morning wen he knows I'm not there..
I have filled the room with his toys. ..
we read a nice story in his bed before sleep time, I prepare him in good time..
it's been over a week now and he's started to get hesterical now wen I leave him to go to work which has never Ben a problem.before..
can anyone please give me.some advice on this
Thank you
nina xx

Can't he keep his room and the new baby have the big room? Either that or just wait 8 months as the new baby should be in with you for 6 months anyway.

Turn the lights out in there and lie on his bed. Is there anything creating scary shadows ?

And agree why can't he keep his room and then have the bigger room in 6 months when they move out of your room?

My ds is 21 months and dd is 11 weeks. We're going to decorate his "big boy" room at Christmas ready for him but let him decide where his sleeps for a while. So he'll have both rooms available for a month, by which time dd will be 6 months. Can you do that for a bit longer?
Are there any weird noises in the new room- wonky radiator etc?#
you've frightened me op! Our ds also sleeps very, very well.
