Alternative to gro bags

My 8 mo hates grow bags - he likes his legs free. He's also a very warm baby, and gets hot and bothered easily. He's a terrible sleeper but we have had some improvement in the sleepyhead with blankets and just wearing a sleepsuit. However, he now prefers to sleep on his stomach and I feel nervous about him doing this in the sleepyhead. Also he kicks the blankets off now and wakes up cold. We are going to try a normal mattress again....but I know he'll roll around lots. Is there an alternative to gro bags that have legs free? Should I try a fleece sleepsuit over a normal one? His room temp averages around 20 at the moment. Any help/tips would be amazing!

slumberfeet are what you want. You can add socks when its really cold if you want.

Oh, he's a bit young for those. You could just get a fleecey sleepsuit and leave off any blankets instead.
