How have you gone about it?
DD1 is 2 and takes about twenty minutes to drop off. Sometimes with us going in a couple of times to reassure but she is always out within 40 mins.
DD2 is 3.5 months and although we're not doing it yet, at some point she's going to have to be put down to sleep in the same room as DD1. My initial thought was to wait until DD1 goes to sleep then put DD2 down but I worry that getting her to sleep (including likely crying) will wake DD1.
How do you go about getting the younger child into a routine when it's a shared room and will impact their sibling? I'm sure there's an easy solution to this (people must do this all the time!!) that I'm just not considering. By 9 months DD1 was going to bed at 7.30 regularly and I'd like this for DD2 but not sure if them both going down at that time by then is realistic?
