How much sleep does your baby/young toddler get?

My DS is nearly 15mo and generally gets 10 hours at night and 1.5 - 2 hours in the day. Just wondered how this compared to others as it seems quite low? He is generally happy and full of energy, no grumpy tiredness unless it's nearly nap time!

Hi OP. That sounds exactly like mine. Although I fancy it is less than most others I know.

DS sleeps from 7-5.30 and normally does 1.5-2hrs in the morning. (Meaning he's awake from 7-8 hours in the afternoon). It doesn't seem to bother him at all. He goes down for sleeps quite easily most of the time and wakes once most nights for resettling.

I should have said. He's 17mo but this has been pretty much it since 12-13mo.

Hi Tango, we sound pretty similar although mine sleeps 7pm until 5/5.30ish (The early waking has been since be has been better at night). He wakes once or twice for quick resettling also. He went for his nap at 10.40 today and is still asleep now, might use this as an opportunity to put to bed later and try to aim for a 6am waking. Generally though he is awake for 7hrs in afternoon and seems pretty happy.

16mo here, he has 10-11 overnight and 1.5-2 during the day.

My dd2 is just 18 mths and usually has about 10/11 hrs overnight and 1.5-2.5 hrs in the afternoon (single nap) and has done since she was about 13 mths.

Ds is 18 months and has 11-11.5 hours at night and 2-3 hours in the day (one nap). That's if we're at home for nap time- he sleeps less in his buggy.

14mo. 2x 45 mins during the day. 10 hours overnight, with 3-4 wakings.

22 months. 10-12 at might, 8-7 usually then between an hour and two during the day. No waking in the night. Been like that since about 10 months.

If I leave him on a weekend he might sleep until 10. I realise I am lucky!
