Hello, what time should a 6 month old go to bed? I know it's baby to baby, but just want a rough idea. Thanks

Hello, my dd is 6.5 months old and she goes to bed between 6.30 and 7 usually, sometimes it's 7.30 depending on when her last nap ends.

What time does your dc usually go to bed at the moment? Do you have a routine e.g. Naps etc.

7.30-8 for me. Earlier and she wakes up earlier than is ideal.

Thanks. Her eyes are closed asleep about 2030. She usually wakes about 0745. Just wondering if this sounds about right? She's still asleep now and wonder if I should wake her? Is that advisable?

DS is almost 6 months and he goes to sleep at 8pm, until last week he had a nightfeed anywhere from 3.30-6am and up for the day at 8ish but he's been sleeping through the last 6 nights but with a slightly earlier wake-up of 7ish.
He's also a catnapper during the day and naps are generally 40-45mins but he has recently started pulling the odd hr+ nap. On a normal day for him he has naps at approx 10, 1 and 4. On days where he's started doing longer naps it can mean he only has 2 naps a day but I try to keep to approximately 2 hr awake time between naps

NewFamily2014 your bedtime seems fine to me and I personally wouldn't wake her if she's having a little lie-in.
Our 8pm bedtime has got to this point by gradually moving it forward over time. My aim is to have him going to sleep around 7.30 in the next few months

Erm vague routine but was approx

8am wake. Milk
9am breakfast
10-11am nap ( in pram). Wake milk
1pm milk then lunch
2-3/3.30 nap ( in cot or pram).wake milk
5.30pm milk
6pm nap (20 mins)
7pm dinner
8pm milk
9pm bed
11/12pm dream feed milk

I wouldn't wake in morning if asleep. And just roughly put down for first nap 2hrs after waking in morning. So if woke early one morning for whatever reason I would move nap early

I tried not to give milk to sleep so roughly fed milk 30 ish mins before naps/ bed

DS is 25 weeks now - he goes to bed between 7:30 - 8 depending on when he has his last nap. Sometimes he will go to bed at 7 if his last nap has ended early. We're sometimes only having two naps now and if this is the case then I bring bedtime earlier.

We don't really have a routine as I just feed on demand all day and he feeds pretty frequently, at least every 2 hours often more. I've started weaning and I usually do food around 5ish after his last nap. (still on one meal a day)

My 6 month old wakes at 6:30 and so goes-
6:30 BF
8:00 bottle
9:00 sleep
11:00 wake
12:00 bottle
2:00 sleep
4:00 wake then bottle
6:00 bath
6:30 bottle
7:00 bed

This is typical but flexible depending on what I have on that day. I am SAHM. I try to fit in a couple if BF when she'll take it. So basically feed every four hours and two 2 hour sleeps through the day ( sometimes a bit less, I don't let her sleep more) and bed at 7.

My 6 month old goes to bed between 6pm and 7pm (3 to 3 and a half hours after his last nap)

But he does wake at 6am quite often.

ds 6.5 m is asleep by 6.45pm. and usually up for the day by 7am ish. he does wake in the night but thats normal for the age i think.
he has to nap every 2 hrs in the day. usually 45min. if he goes longer than 2.5hours between last nap and bed he wakes 3/4 times before properly sleeping so late nap is essential here
