We are going to Austria in March and are planning to buy the all star card, as it is only a little more expensive than the skipass that we normally buy. It covers a few regions, such as Kitzbuhel, Zell am See, Wilder Kaiser and Saalbach-Hinterglemm. We will hire a car so can drive to different resorts.
We have skied in Kitzbuhel already, and will spend most of our time there. We have also skied in the Wilder Kaiser a few times, so will probably try different places. We are interested in spending a day in Zell am See, another in Kaprun and another in Saalbach-Hinterglemm.
Has anyone done this? Would you recommend it or is it too far to drive? We will be staying in Mittersill, which is South of Kitzbuhel. It is about a half hour drive to Kitzbuhel, and half an hour to Zell am See. What do you think about the skiing in Zell, Kaprun or S-H? Any areas or runs that you would recommend?
Thanks in advance.
