Something keeps going wrong if i try to post a lot of links in one go

I've just spot checked a few and they all seem to be coming up fine. What exactly is the problem?

When I was typing I posted a number of different links. Instead some of them seem to have repeated themselves with a number next to them so not all the links I typed have shown up.

I just did this quick test and even in preview the 11th link and onwards is numbered. Also it inserted "#mark er#7" after the 8th one

At some point in the past there was a limit to the number of links there could be in a message post.
The last time I tried doing many links in one post, I found that after a certain number, 8 or maybe 10, instead of putting the correct link for link 11, a link for what was link 1 appeared.

I suspect that it is to try to stop someone spamming the site, or an autobot from posting messages to spammy sites.

If I do find I need to link to lots of stuff, I just create two message posts. Easy soluition.
