D'you need to put on weight or something, Carmenere? suzywong's brownies are killers!

Report
Carmenere · 05/10/2007 15:56

Erm no, definitely do not need to put on weight. No I just want to do it. And if they are going to approach their publishers it makes sense to have someone on board who could do it properly ie me

I think they should post a recipe per day and we should all try it and rate it.

Then we'd all get fat.

I like GGG's idea.

When are we getting the cookbook??

I'm getting impatient

Yes we are keen on a recipe of the day or maybe week more realistically and then we can all have a collective pick it to shreds session! More on that in a few weeks, when Tech surfaces from his current project.

As regards a MN recipe book, nothing is finalised I'm afraid, Carmenere, but we'll certainly bear your interest in mind [smil]

I feel that my tasting skills are far superior and with a larger family am more likely to have more varied taste.

(What else can I bring in to play? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm)

Actually ggg that isn't a bad idea at all. I'll have to standardise and test the recipes first though to make them doable. Oh and we can use other peoples recipes obviously. Well I suppose we could if they were credited.

I might let you all have my "really quite boring but impossible to fail" recipe for toad in the hole if you ask nicely.

Yup, Marsy's lemon dribble cake has a place there for sure.

I don't need to be employed justine just the knowledge that I was providing a much needed service [smarm] would be enough for me. Oh and a free copy of said cookbook!

I'll do it(and by this I mean the 'proper' work, ie the editing, testing and writing the recipes) for a tiny, tiny percentage and a budget for the ingredients ect. And a tiny credit somewhere on it.
