Searching for a specific post on ipad

I'm wondering if anyone has the same problem as me when searching?
E.g. Today I wanted to find if anyone had posted any comments about the book 'The Man in the Picture' by Susan Hill. I entered the relevant search details and selected the adult fiction topic and plenty of results popped up. Each result lists the thread name, how many hits in brackets, then underneath are the posts containing what I'm looking for.
The problem is that I can never access the posts! If I select a post then the screen goes into a loop of attempting access so I have to return to the results screen. I can access via the thread title quite easily but then I am faced with a thread of e.g. 300 posts and no easy way of finding what I want!
Do I have a unique problem with the app or are there settings that I need to change?
