Why don't photos on profiles show up on the mobile site?

Getting bored of having to switch to desktop in order to see photos people have uploaded. If it's not technically possible, a bit of informative text would be handy (Please switch to desktop site to see photos, or something) as it's not obvious on the mobile site that the user does have photos, they're just not viewable on mobile.
