Why does my iphone keep logging me out?

That really! It was doing this before the reset, if I go from Safari to something else on my phone, it logs me out.

Plus, it won't save my details now so I'm logging on every single time I try to MN.

I'm using the mobile site rather than the app as I find the app doesn't load long threads properly so I get a loop of some messages.

Sorry before the Heartbleed reset that should say!

Just coming on to post the same. It is driving me NUTS. Every bloody time I go on and make sure that I check the box to say I want to stay logged on it then logs me out the next time.

Please please please sort this out!

We know this is a problem for people - tech have had a look and at the moment they're not sure what's causing this to happen.

BUT! We are determined to figure it out. If anyone has experienced this problem, please post saying how you're accessing MN (browser, device, platform), and we'll see if we can spot a pattern or a cause. Thanks, and sorry again for the faff.

After the Heartbleed reset I found out how to delete the saved password as it kept pre-populating with my original password but I don't know how to make it save again! Maybe that's my fault though.

My password is still saved but it continues to log me out despite this and the 'keep me logged in' box checked

Me too. It's driving me nuts now. No improvement whatsoever.

Hi, The usual reason for this is that you have private browsing turned on. It's easy to do this accidentally on an iphone. There's an explanation of how to check on this thread. Hope this helps.

Tech it's doing this for me and I definitely don't have incognito/private browsing,

I'm on an iPhone 4s, latest software and it's doing it on both Chrome and Safari.

I've also checked I haven't changed the setting for cookies etc and that's all fine as is the "keep me logged in" option.

I'm definitely not in private browsing.

And I've switched to Chrome and it's still happening.

Still happening for me on Chrome and in fact getting worse-until today it did at least remember my name and password and I just had to click log in each time but now it's wiping my name and password each time too despite the box being ticked to remember them. Infuriating.

Really sorry about this folks - we're a bit baffled but we have a spreadsheet on the go and are trying to work out why it's happening.

I'm pretty sure I didn't have private browsing switched on, as I don't remember seeing pop up 'keep/clear windows' before , but enabling/disabling it a couple of times to see what the effect was seems to have sorted my issue.
