been away for a week and am noticing there seems to be quite a few threads asking people to sign one, couldn't they have their won topic(yes I am hiding them) but they do seem to warrant one.

Hi - we don't really allow petitions on the talk boards, so if you see them please report and we'll delete them.

I think I know the kind of thread the OP meant. I've reported a selection for your consideration.

If you search "epetition" there are lots of hits, going back several years. If you don't want them on Talk, that's quite a lot of deletions if there is to be a consistent approach.

My Neices these chain of events should never have happened. Mulan had roughly 6-8 owners. Was between 6-8 years of age. Was microchipped but information never updated. Last but one owner advertisd Mulan. Couple went and viewed her. No money changed hands. On the understanding if anything happened, she should be brought back. 24 hours later she seriously attacked his own dog. He was worried about the safety of his own kids. Instead of doing responsible thing. Instead of taking dog back, or contacting appropriate people. He lied. He decided to phone dog Warden. He lied by saying he found dog in the park. Warden contacted owners on microchip.which said they didn't want dog back. Dog was handed to rehoming centre. Rehoming centre contacted my neice by bombarding photos of Mulan on social media. My neice gave in and view Mulan with Lexi. Mulan was in abit of a state. They liked her but went home to think about it. They decided to rehome Mulan. Sadly they had Mulan around a month. When on 5th November something triggered Mulan to maul our Lexi. She died. We believed Laws would be put into place. But their still aren't any regarding rehoming centres. Nothing has changed. When we go to rehoming centres. How often do we question what qualifications, training anday experience backgrounds etc.

We started this petition since other families are living our nightmare. We want dong to get tLC and support in rehoming centres. Their aren't any Laws in place at present or guidelines. Not all staff in rehoming centres are trained or have qualifications. We just want set guidelines for rehoming centres to follow in this Land. Support and education for new owners. Home checks before and after for families. If these had been in place our Lexi would probably be alive today.
