Hi . I have just recieved an email from DS1's school saying he has hit a couple of other pupils. (not completly unprovoked) and been using inappropriat language. At primary he was always Mr perfect, though he wasnt at home and could be aggressive towards his brother. He is on the autistic spectrum and attends a special needs boarding school. Normal academic ability. School say he doesnt seem to be able to stop himself from doing these things. Not sure what to do

Not sure I can help but don't want to leave this unanswered. Is there someone you can speak to from school? Do they have a member of staff who deals with behavioural difficulties and changes? It sounds like he is sticking up for himself, which in many ways is a good thing, and with teenage hormones thrown in, will result in confusion for him. I would find someone to speak to about it. When do you see him next?

Yes you need to chat and work out your way forward. Best of luck.
