Opinions on The Grange School, Hartford, Northwich

Hi,
I recently started a thread asking about Bradfield, St Edwards and The Grange School, Northwich for my daughter in year 9. We had to cross Bradfield and St Edwards off our list because she is in year 9 right now, and we would have to had applied in year 7 to get a place in year 9, because they are boarding schools, and I would miss her too much. We recently went for the open day of The Grange School, Northwich, and we really liked it, but I was just wondering if anyone has had an experience with the school, and if they knew if the pupils were nice? I know they got a new head in September of this year, so I just need to know if anyone has any good experience with it. (My daughter is academic, quiet, sensible yet sociable). Thank you.

It has a very good reputation and gets good grades.
A couple of friends sent their DCs there and were very pleased with it. My DD has a friend who went there - so she has been to parties with other pupils from there and likes them - says they are not too posh!
