Yes, they're fine if you're DC is already motivated and needs a polish rather than a hoist, in my experience. My DS did Physics last Easter and felt left behind so got bored and still failed. They're quite pushy in their marketing and follow ups. However, I'm sure they work wonders for others!

Hmm yes, I thought that. Bit worried dd would be be with students who want A*s rather than As , as opposed to a C rather than a D.

she has a maths tutor so I think we may stick with her.

Looked at them last week but they are so expensive. Think it worked out over 300 for 2 days. It was the same price per hour as a private tutor and you are not getting 1 to1.
