Quick Q: how are Low, Middle and High achievers defined in the league tables?

I know High is level 5 or above at KS2, but do they mean for all subjects? What if a child got a 3 for English and a 5 for maths?

Just curious :)

AS per the BBC website - hover over the question mark at it tells you -
low is under level 4
middle is at level 4
high is above level 4
beyond that, look on the Dfe site or at the full data set

I understood that Talkin. But I can't find anything that explains which group a child who attained a 3 in maths and a 5 in English would fit into, iyswim. Or would they fit into two groups?

Like I said, I'm just curious.

Ah, so an average from the points. That makes sense.

Thank you!
