Should we move for secondary schools

We have 4 children. Our oldest is currently in going into year 3. We bought our home (a 3 bed) 9 years ago when we had no children. Currently my 3 boys share and my little girl has her own room. The secondary schools nearby aren't great. But I am a SAHM with no family around so if we move I would probably have to work. There maybe scope to extend but we wouldn't make anything on our house long term.

Do we take the gamble and move to a bigger home and better schools or do we sit tight and see how the schools around us get? Has anyone moved and regretted it?

I always put school first so I would move.

I would move too, the school is so important.

Are you thinking of moving somewhere biggeranyway, and think moving near a good school is the way to go?

I would move, but you need to be quite certain about which school you want to be near.

I agree- you must visit on a normal day, don't go by Ofsted, league tables or what people say, except as a very rough guide.
