Help with AS level English

Are there any English Lit teachers out there?
DD is grappling with the question "compare the use and effect of sexuality in Top Girls and A Street Car named Desire" and doesn't know where to start.
Anyone got any top tips?

Exam board? Module? What's the purpose of the essay? Is it coursework or in preparation for an exam?

It's quite an 'interesting' title and doesn't sound like the sort normally written by an exam board (not impossible though). There are, obviously, many different routes you could go down to answer it, so I'd need to know the assessment criteria in order to work out what she is expected to write about.
