I'm looking to register with some employment agencies to see if I can get any supply / cover supervisor work. I live in West London, could travel easily towards central/south London.
I trained to teach English for secondary school 6 years ago but haven't taught in the UK since, so thought this would be a good way to get back in to it.
Would you recommend going down this route, is there much work around?
Also if you're a secondary school teacher can you also go for primary work or are you limited to your subject and age group?
Getting last minute childcare might also be a problem for me, is all work generally very short notice?
I'm a bit ignorant on all this as I've been away from the UK for a few years and have never done supply work.
Any tips welcome, thanks!
