JAGS or Bromley High

Hi, anyone with experience of these schools. Trying to decide between JAGS or Bromley high. I have been told Jags produces better results, however Bromley high is closer to home and appears to have better facilities.
It is a difficult choice as I am wondering if Bromley high is much better than a really good grammer school.
Please help!

Hi,
My daughter just been offered both schools. JAGS definately more academic than Bromley High. Also, I think, has better facilities. I know many parents with girls at both schools and they are very happy with them. From the info I have gleaned JAGS is more focused. Depends on your daughter. You can ask for another walk round next week before the deadline in returning your acceptance.

Thanks chick01, we might have to choose bromley high based on closeness to home and the fact that to get to JAGS we would have to pay over £1000 extra per year for the coach.
Wish money was not an issue as I have also heard that JAGS is stronger academically.

Both good and produce nice young women. Jags more academic and pretty artsy as well with well connected parents. I'd say it was also quite socially pressured and bh might be more relaxed.

So, what did you do?? I take it from your post you most likely were going to accept Bromley High. If so, lovely school we were very tempted by it but in the end chose JAGS. We also had an added dilema of being offered Alleyns as well..... it was such a difficult choice.

chick01 I have accepted the offer for Bromley high, purely based on distance and the fact she loves the school. She also got an offer from Newstead woods which was a dilemma as well.
JAGS is a fantastic school and I am sure you've made the right choice.

feelingcalm, you have definately chosen for the best. Bromley High very good school, good pastural care, great facilities and gets great results. Out of the choice of those two schools - Newstead or Bromley High, I would have gone for Bromley High, without a moments hesitation. I am very impressed with the new head, I think she is going places.

that's a very vague question - on a zombie thread?
maybe start a new thread of your own and ask more specific questions?

I know that bromley high school is very good at pastoral care and also know that academically stant way down compared to jags and city of London . As this only one near to me .
I am confused choosing between Weald of Kent grammar or bromley high . The only difference is one is free and the other is paid but both in par with academic is what I feel .
Not sure I am write ?
Would appreciate any feedback from bromley high mums and who chosen bh only because close to home .
